Dr. John Barrett

Dr. John Barrett originated Dentistry Northwest in Port Hadlock in January 1979. He has enjoyed helping our patients achieve and maintain exceptional dental health for all those years. He has always been interested in maintaining a cutting edge practice despite the fact that our office is a 125 year old Victorian house. Dr. Barrett is married with five children and six grandchildren. Luckily all of them live in the Puget Sound area so he and his wife Anne get to spend time with the grand children often. Dr. Barrett has many hobbies and interests among them flying, skiing, fly fishing, traveling the world, wood and metal working, backpacking, reading and so on. He feels very lucky to have a gifted staff who have learned their jobs so well that most of the time he just does what they tell him to do and the dental outcomes are predictably good.

Hi my name is Carol, I am a dental assistant at Dentistry Northwest.  I have been working for Dr Barrett since the beginning of time, or at least since 1983.  I am married and have 3 children.  I enjoy warm tropical vacations and watching my kids sporting events.  Oh, and of course there’s Facebook which does occupy some of my spare time.

Christine

Hi my name is Christine and I have lived in the area with my husband since 1983.  My idea of perfect time off is to travel with my husband in our RV and exploring new areas, park near the water, put my feet up with a fire burning and a stack of good books to read.  I started at Dentistry Northwest in 1999 and I am the busy behind the scenes lady who does all the cleaning, sterilizing and lab work.

My name is Dallas and I am the Dental Hygienist at Dentistry Northwest.  I started in dental hygiene in 2010 after graduating from Seattle Central.  I switched careers after being a pharmacy technician for 10 years.  I felt compelled to work more one on one with patients because I absolutely enjoy helping people and teaching them about their oral health.  I take great pride in the work I do and I am enjoying every minute of it.  I moved to Bremerton in 1994 after growing up in Chula Vista, California.  I have two daughters who keep me very active and  I enjoy taking them to all of their sporting events and spending my free time just lounging with them.

Hi my name is Juliene, I have been a dental assistant since1984 and have been working with Dr Barrett since 2007.  I enjoy working with all of the wonderful staff here at Dentistry Northwest.  In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my two children and my family.

Hey, my name is Kindra.  I am a Port Townsend native and graduated from Chimacum High School.  I have been working at Dentistry Northwest since 2009 as one of Dr Barrett’s dental assistant.  I am a very down to earth girl who enjoys spending time with friends and family, whether it be camping, going on vacations, spending time outside in the sunshine (when it’s out) or just hanging out over food and drinks.

Rebecca

Hi my name is Rebecca and most likely I will be the first person to greet you when you walk thru our front door or call our office.  I am here to help you with all your insurance and financial questions and to assist you in scheduling your appointments.  I was born and raised in Port Townsend.  I graduated from PTHS and have worked in a dental office since 1993.  I started working for Dr Barrett in 2005.  When I’m not at work I am busing with my two daughters.  I love spending my free time outside in the yard and gardens or at the beach.
