Teeth Whitening with Opalescence®

teeth bleaching, teeth whiteningTeeth naturally darken as we age. Over time, staining may be caused by exposure to coffee, tea, soda, tobacco, and certain foods. Discoloration can also occur because of certain childhood illnesses, medications, physical trauma, etc.

The teeth bleaching treatment starts with your dentist examining your teeth and gums to ensure good oral health. Then an impression of your teeth will be taken to guarantee proper fit of the cusom fabricated bleaching trays.

The Opalescence bleaching gel is placed in these thin comfortable trays and fitted over your teeth. As you whiten your teeth, carbamide peroxide is broken down and oxygen enters the enamel and dentin. This bleaches out the discolored areas on your teeth. The structure of the tooth is not changed.

Whiter results are often seen after one night. Optimum natural tooth whiteness usually occurs when the process is continued for a week to 10 days. The results last for years, with an occasional touch up for a day or two.

Opalescence is the first ADA accepted syringe delivered tooth whitening system that shows significant whitening within days. It's available only through a dentist and under his/her supervision.

Give yourself or a loved one the gift of a brighter, whiter smile. Call or email us to set up an appointment to discuss this easy and effective method of whitening teeth.
